Both are very well written pieces by my friend Robert. This is a must read for anyone interested in the rebuilding of New Orleans and its food scene. Robert is very witty and also passionate about where he lives. His site is one of the first food sites I came across and one that inspired me to start this blog. This is what the people of New Orleans are about folks.

NOW I remember where I heard of you. It's been killing me for the last day or so. Robert gave you a howdee on his blog, that's it. Excellent.
Yeah, I dunno. I read the interview Robert just did and wasn't all that impressed. Seemed like back peddlin' to me. Alan sure got a lot of press though, for sure.
