The jewel of Highland. I do not know any other way to describe it. This restaurant is one of our favorite places to eat. We have gone on Valentines Day, both of our birthdays on two occasions and basically anytime we can find a babysitter.
Back in April my parents came in town for my birthday and although Columbia Cafe is a great place to be I would not exactly call it the ideal place to have a two year old. We decided we would just order our dinner to go and enjoy it at the house which is ideally the better place for a two year old.
Here is a little snapshot of our meal.
My mother ordered the Walnut Encrusted Rainbow Trout on Wilted Spinach with Garlic-Chive Beurre Rouge
Both me and my dad ordered the Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon with Bleu cheese & Balsamic Reduction over Yukon Gold Mash
I believe if I remember correctly that Ann was not feeling too good that night so she had the Greek Salad with Organic Greens,Feta, Kalamata Olives, Cucumbers and Greek Herb Vinaigrette ( you can see it in the picture of the whole meal). As always the food was spectacular and once again made another birthday very memorable.
