Hi Gourmet,
I saw your post on Shreveport Times' website and wanted to see your photos. I was the parade chairman and am glad you enjoyed Saturday's parade! We were happy with the participation of floats/groups in this year's event and hope it will be even bigger and better next year! I also noticed Ethan and Ann O'Boyle in your photos. Ethan and my daughter are in the same class at Noel. I waved to Ann briefly on Saturday, but didn't get a chance to stop and visit. I was trying to catch up to the front of the parade! Thanks again for coming out and supporting 4 Shreveport. To learn more about our organization, visit www.4shreveport.org.
Regards,

What a great event and a good cause! Last year I tried Guinness floats, so why not a Guinness shake?!

Hello, I found this blog when looking at Columbia Cafe's website. My husband and I moved to Shreveport last July, but we are originally from Austin and lived in New Jersey for some time. We are having a hard time with places to shop. I was hoping you could let me know where you get some of the ingredients for your food around Shreveport. Is there a hidden gem I am missing out on?
